Various threads from other "Healthy Living" and weight training forums on the internet sparked my idea for this...Having followed the lifestyle of a bodybuilder, especially in terms of diet for the past two years, I was always flabbergasted at how such minute changes and tweeks in your daily intake of protein, fats, and carbs really changed your physique and overall well being....

Below is what I consume, Day in and day out...7 days a week...Just to give you druggies and normies an idea of how to eat like a true warrior :!.

Meal 1- 3 egg whites, 1 omega-3 enriched whole egg, two servings of grits, two slices of fiber & flax bread, 10 oz. orange juice

Meal 2- Whey protein shake in water

Meal 3- 8-10 oz. chicken breast marinated with buffalo wing sauce and hot sauce, 1 cup of white rice. (Sea salt added to meal)

Meal 4- 8-10 oz. chicken breast marinated with buffalo wing sauce and hot sauce, 1 cup of mashed potatoes with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter spray. (Sea salt added to meal)

So there is basically what I eat and the foods that fuel my muscles before and after I train...Obviously, this diet is high protein, moderate carbs, and low fat...Sometimes I'll substitute a can of tuna with a chicken meal if I'm in a hurry, and maybe throw a slice of non-fat cheddar cheese on my eggs in the morning, but besides that, I stick to this diet...
 
Hmmmmm....Good thread idea PARooller but....you sure you dont want this merged with the "Last thing you ate?" thread? ;) I dont think everybody eats the same thing day in and day out like you do hehehe....Well lets leave this open for now and see if there are any responses.
 
I was gonna say the same thing....no fiber sources at all? No carbohydrates from vegetables or fruit?
 
I supplement with vitamins and a plethora of other supplements...I get the fiber from the bread.
 
I think the only thing veges are good for is fiber anyways. I need to eat more of them too.
 
Yeah...I prefer to eat the more starches before the evening and then try to get other sources of carbs from broccoli...but I like to keep it simple, and chicken, tuna, rice, and potatoes are my main choices.
 
ahaah you and your ice cream...fortunately stoner, you are blessed with low bf% and a fast metabolism...If I ate that, I'd get more stretchmarks
 
I had coconut ice cream with peanut butter sauce last night.

I eat the same stuff 5 days a week for breakfast and lunch with minor variations.
Dinner selections rotate based on what I feel like making, what protein is on sale, and what veggies are in season.
I make enough for 4 so there are leftovers for quick small meals if desired. We don't have many processed foods in the house.
My husband could eat PB&J daily if I wasn't into cooking and meal planning.
 
I hated that protein shake stuff PAR. My ex gave it to me to try to help me put some weight on. I made it with 2% to increase calories. But I don't think it go me anywhere but I didn't have a scale anyway. If I did it just dropped off. I always hated that I had to sleep afterwards because my body couldn't process that much protein without shutting other systems down. Strange huh? Do you have that?

I think this thread has some real potential, lets see some food porn guys!!

Hahah wrong my friend...my spare tire is being aired up as we speak:)

I don't really eat that much ice cream. Once I get back on a steady diet, I'll take some 'grub pics' though roller.

okay, so I don't eat like this everyday, or ever really, but it's the only photo of food I presently have on my computer. Will take pics of tomorrow's more meager items.
 

That looks gewd! :D OMG I went on an ice cream binge last weekend....mango ice cream (THE BEST!) and oreo sundaes (which I dont really eat, except it was for free so I had it!) I will not be eating ice cream for the rest of the year ;)

Hmmm I'd like to try some mango ice cream,....sounds pretty good

There was a steak in the fridge last night but I'm not allowed to run the microwave after 10pm because I wake my parents. When I am home after work it was gone. Story of my life. :(
